Botagoz Zeinulla

Section 5
In the heart of Astana, Botagoz Zeinulla, an indomitable entrepreneur, has harnessed the power of determination and shattered gender stereotypes in the transport and forwarding sector. As the leader of metal product and structure production at the esteemed Transport and Forwarding Complex 'ARS-Vneshservice,' she has not only transformed her family business but also inspired countless women to pursue their dreams in male-dominated industries.

From humble beginnings, Botagoz's entrepreneurial journey began when she completed her education in budget and budget accounting at just 15 years old. Little did she know that this would pave the way for her future leadership role in her father's company. Following her father's passing, she courageously assumed the mantle of responsibility, steering the production of metal products and structures.

Transport and Forwarding Complex 'ARS-Vneshservice' underwent a remarkable metamorphosis under Botagoz's leadership. The company emerged as a trailblazer, offering comprehensive rail transportation services not only within Kazakhstan but also to non-CIS countries. From containers to covered wagons, gondola cars to platforms, and specialized rolling stock, they facilitated diverse transportation needs with efficiency.

Botagoz's ascent to success was not without its challenges. Building trust and establishing her reputation proved to be formidable tasks, especially in the context of a family business. However, Botagoz turned these obstacles into stepping stones. Drawing upon the wisdom of her parents and their experienced friends, she found support and invaluable guidance. Their words of wisdom resonated deeply within her, pushing her to constantly improve and prove her capabilities.

Reflecting on her journey, Botagoz shared her opinion that, "If you want to act and things don't go as planned, draw conclusions, take action again, and never stop learning and improving your competencies." These words encapsulate her commitment to personal and professional growth, serving as a testament to her unyielding spirit.

As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Botagoz has confronted the prevailing gender stereotypes head-on. She challenges the notion that women are mere outliers in the forwarding business, affirming, "The organization of transportation is predominantly driven by women. From freight forwarders to drivers, machinists to conductors, women hold a significant presence." Her words inspire a new narrative, celebrating the increasing representation of women in traditionally male-dominated domains.

Botagoz believes that women bring a unique perspective to decision-making. She notes, "Women possess an innate intuition, akin to raising a child, which aids us in making well-rounded choices. On the other hand, men often think strategically and take calculated risks." With a balanced approach, she has been able to make astute decisions while minimizing potential risks.

Navigating the transport and forwarding sector has presented its own set of complexities for Botagoz. One persistent challenge she faces is the scarcity of highly skilled specialists in the field. Recognizing the significance of professionals in establishing efficient logistics and optimizing transportation processes, she asserts, "Professionals play a crucial role in constructing the right logistics and facilitating cost-effective cargo transport. Their expertise is invaluable." Botagoz remains dedicated to attracting and nurturing talent, bridging the gap in the industry and driving growth.
