Research Assistant
Adiya Akhmer is a 4th year political science and international relations student at NU. She is a research assistant in NURCE, working on a project about female entrepreneurs in male-dominated fields. She is an alumna of School of Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, and Young Leadership program, organized by Friedrich Ebert Foundation. She also writes for an online magazine Manshuq, which focuses on women empowerment. Her research interests include nuclear politics, civil society, social activism, feminism in Central Asia.
