Art Director | Project Manager
Emina Yessekeyeva is a PhD student at Radboud University in the Netherlands, specializing in Comparative Religious Studies. Her research focuses on the religious dimensions of art, particularly material religion and visual anthropology, with an emphasis on how contemporary Kazakhstani artists engage with religion in a society shaped by periods of religious suppression and resurgence.

Her interests also extend to futures studies and foresight, exploring how creativity, imagination, and artistic practices can help societies envision alternative futures and navigate complexity. Alongside her academic experience, Emina works at Nazarbayev University GSB, with research interests in creative industries, entrepreneurship, and management anthropology. At NURCE, she serves as Art Director for books and Editor of Serpin magazine.
