Eva Lennartz
My name is Eva Lennartz. I was born and raised in Germany. I am a second year PhD student in Eurasian Studies at the School of Sciences and Humanities at Nazarbayev University.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in “European Studies” from Maastricht University and graduated with a master's in “Global Studies” from the University of Vienna and the University of Wroclaw. In my master’s thesis, I focused on market entry strategies of international food companies in Poland.
For the last three years I have worked in project management at German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation in Baku, Azerbaijan, implementing projects in financial literacy and agricultural finance.
In my PhD I conduct research on the Azerbaijani youth and changing intergenerational relations. In doing so, I am also interested in gender studies and women in business.
