Ms. Makhabat is an expert in media and communications, resident of the Club of Kazakhstan PR Professionals. She is the co-founder of an online resource for PR professionals — prdrive.kz.

Ms. Makhabat is the author of the book "Women in Business. 40 Inspiring Stories of Female Entrepreneurs" (2019).

She is also the founder MamaSpace Private Fund which aims at organising and supporting educational and media projects for female entrepreneurs. In addition, in 2019 she was the co-organizer of a transformational program for female entrepreneurs Umay Boost supported by Chevron.
