Programs aimed at developing and supporting women entrepreneurs pay particular attention to issues related to family and the future of the younger generation. After all, every mother who combines a career with entrepreneurship is interested in her child finding their calling, making an informed choice of profession, and being able to fulfill their potential in life.
It was with this goal in mind that on September 6, 2025, Nazarbayev University hosted an open session on business thinking for high school and college students. The event was organized by NURCE in collaboration with the Association of Business Coaches and brought together about 60 participants—teenagers, students, and their parents. Notably, some families attended in full force—moms, dads, and children—emphasizing the importance of jointly exploring and discussing future career paths.
The first part of the program was devoted to a master class by career counselor and consultant Zarina Abylkhakhova on the topic “Me and My Path: A Conscious Choice for the Future.” Her presentation resonated strongly with the audience: schoolchildren actively discussed their dreams and interests, asked questions about choosing the right profession, and parents sought guidance on how to support their children in this process. The lively dialogue showed that the topic of career planning is both timely and essential.
