The Annual Open Forum of the Business Trainers Association: A Catalyst for Change

On February 20, 2025, our university became the epicenter of discussion and innovation as it hosted the Annual Open Forum of the Business Trainers Association. Organized in partnership with our Research Center (NURCE), the event brought together leading experts to explore the evolving landscape of business training and corporate education in Kazakhstan.
Defining the Future of Business Training
The forum featured two key panel discussions that tackled pressing issues in the industry. The first session examined the professionalization of business training, emphasizing the need for certification, quality control, and industry standards. Experts, including Olzhas Kuspekov (Member of Parliament), Dauren Zhanatovich Sharipov (Head of the Analysis and Systematization Department at KazStandard), Aliya Ospanova (international expert in science and education), and Gulmira Bagzhaeva (certified accountant, business trainer, and industry specialist), debated strategies for strengthening the role of business trainers and ensuring their qualifications meet the highest benchmarks.
The second discussion focused on corporate education as a driver of business success. Industry leaders such as Margarita Kadyrova (Director of the Institute for Professional Development at the Academy of Public Administration), Miras Daulenov (President of Coventry University Kazakhstan), Sultanbek Markenov (Director of Digitalization and Business Promotion at Samruk Business Academy), and Saltanat Beissembina (Registrar and General Director for Academic Affairs at Nazarbayev University, PhD) shared insights on integrating lifelong learning into corporate culture, the impact of personal development on business performance, and the importance of adapting global best practices to Kazakhstan’s unique market dynamics.
