OratorFest: A Space Where Dreams Turn Into Action

On April 26, Nazarbayev University hosted the latest edition of OratorFest — a day that became a true reset for many participants. More than just a series of workshops, it was a dynamic and energizing space where people reconnected with their goals, clarified their priorities, and left with real tools to move forward.

The first session, “Turning Dreams into Deadlines,” set the tone for the day. Participants learned how to transform abstract ambitions into concrete goals, using time management strategies and speech preparation techniques to build their personal roadmap to success.

The second session brought a shift inward. Through workshops on emotional regulation, negotiation challenges, and energy restoration, participants gained deeper awareness of themselves and others — learning how to assert their needs with clarity and calm while preserving their emotional well-being.

By the final session, the atmosphere had become almost meditative. The focus turned to minimalism — learning to eliminate distractions and focus on what truly matters. The day ended on a high note with a rap freestyle session that unexpectedly became a metaphor for the entire event: being present, expressing yourself freely, and finding confidence in spontaneity.

OratorFest once again proved to be more than just a training day — it was a personal journey for each participant. They left with a spark in their eyes, a renewed sense of focus, and the energy to carry these changes into their studies, work, and daily lives.
