Zhanar Kulzhanova: Sustainability Expert and Advocate

Zhanar Kulzhanova, an alumna of KazGU with a degree in International Relations and an MBA from Nazarbayev University's Graduate School of Business, has dedicated 24 years to sustainability. Her journey began in 2000 as a diplomat at Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on multilateral sustainable development initiatives.

Since 2020, Kulzhanova has served as an ESG consultant and educator at Seleu Consulting, enhancing ESG principles across various sectors.

A passionate advocate for environmental and social issues, she co-founded the "SOS Taldykol" Public Association, spearheading numerous initiatives from clean-up hikes to educational campaigns on recycling and sustainable living in rural communities. Her efforts continue to foster sustainability awareness and create lasting impacts throughout Kazakhstan.
