Semey: A Return to Roots and the Depth of Meaning
Holding the program in Semey - the birthplace of Abai Kunanbaiuly - gave the training a special symbolic and meaningful dimension. Participants perceived the program not only as business training, but also as a space for personal and values-based dialogue with the national philosophical heritage.
The cohort was characterized by thoughtful engagement, deep reflection, and a genuine interest in the philosophical foundations of entrepreneurship. Working with the “Tolyk Adam” concept helped participants rethink the connection between personal values, management decisions, and the impact of business on society.
• Deeper understanding of Abai’s philosophy as a practical guide for business and leadership;
• Greater sense of personal responsibility among entrepreneurs for the social impact of their projects;
• Increased interest in developing socially meaningful and sustainable initiatives;
• High levels of reflection and participant engagement throughout the training.
Feedback of Participants:
Aigul Kambarova: “For me, this training was a real discovery. For the first time, I thought so deeply about the fact that business is not only about profit, but also about responsibility toward people and society. The atmosphere of trust and support, as well as the sincere stories shared by other participants, inspired me to rethink my projects and my approach to working with my team.”
Karakhat Turdina: “The program gave me a feeling of returning to my roots. Working with Abai’s philosophy, I realized how important it is to build a business with heart, care for people, and concern for the future. Here, we were not only taught practical tools, but also given a space for genuine exchange of experience and friendship.”
