Almaty: Interregional Dialogue, Values-Based Leadership, and New Approaches to Entrepreneurship
The third Almaty cohort was held at AlmaU University and brought together entrepreneurs from Almaty, as well as participants from Shymkent and Kostanay who travelled specifically to attend the Master Training. Representatives of the university also joined the program.
This diverse composition created a space for interregional exchange, professional dialogue, and the development of new business connections. The training was conducted in Russian and built around Abai’s philosophical concept of “Tolyk Adam,” which was explored as a practical foundation for the development of modern entrepreneurs and leaders.
The value of this cohort lay in combining entrepreneurial and academic perspectives. Participants from different regions were able to exchange practices, discuss common challenges, and identify new opportunities for business development and cooperation.
The participation of women entrepreneurs from Shymkent and Kostanay broadened the regional context of the training, while the presence of AlmaU representatives strengthened the connection between the business community and the academic environment.
